Why TubeTagger exists
We got tired of guessing why a video shows up with tags we'd never have thought of, while ours sits buried with five. So we built a tool to just show the hidden metadata a creator set — no sign-up, no "create an account to see results," no upsell halfway through.
TubeTagger reads the same public metadata YouTube's own systems read, and shows it to you plainly. That's it. We didn't add a tag generator that promises AI-optimized keywords, because that's not what this tool is for.
What we believe:
- Tags are a minor ranking signal. Title, thumbnail, and watch time matter more. We say this on the homepage, and we mean it.
- Free should mean free. No account, no email gate, no "pay to unlock the rest of the tags."
- A tool doesn't need a mascot or a backstory to be trustworthy. It needs to work, and to tell you clearly when it can't.
Who's behind this:
TubeTagger is an independently built tool, made by [YOUR_NAME_PLACEHOLDER]. There's no funding round, no team of twelve — just a tool we wanted to exist, so we built it.
